Download & Install ClearLedger Analytics

Overview

ClearLedger is a Windows desktop application designed for portfolio managers and traders. You can download the latest version at any time from your ClearLedger client portal. The installer is digitally signed and safe to run.

Download Steps

1. Log in to your ClearLedger client portal.

2. In the top navigation bar, click Download.

3. Click Download ClearLedger to download the installer.

4. Run the file: ClearLedgerSetup.exe.

5. Follow the installation prompts.

6. Launch ClearLedger from your Start Menu or desktop.

SmartScreen Notice (Windows Installer Prompt)

Windows may display a SmartScreen message such as “This isn’t commonly downloaded.” This is normal for new applications that have not yet built reputation with Microsoft.

To continue:

1. Click More Info

2. Click Run Anyway

ClearLedger is digitally signed and safe to install.

SmartScreen Notice (Browser Download Prompt)

Some users may see a different SmartScreen warning before running the installer — directly inside Microsoft Edge or Chrome.

If the browser blocks the download:

1. Click the three dots (…) beside the blocked file.

2. Select Keep.

3. When prompted again, click Show more.

4. Click Keep anyway to save the installer.

This warning appears because the file is new and not yet widely downloaded. The installer is safe, verified, and signed under your ClearLedger publishing certificate.

Why These Warnings Appear

SmartScreen reputation is based on how many people have downloaded and run an application. Even fully signed and trusted installers may show warnings until reputation builds.

ClearLedger’s installer is:

• Digitally signed

• Published under your verified certificate

• Hosted securely on Microsoft Azure

It is safe to download and run.
