Launching ClearLedger Analytics
After installation, ClearLedger Analytics appears as a Windows desktop application with its own launcher. You never open Excel manually — ClearLedger Analytics initializes and manages the entire environment for you.
To launch ClearLedger Analytics:
Double‑click ClearLedger Analytics on your desktop
ClearLedger Analytics initializes its runtime environment
Excel opens automatically
The ClearLedger Analytics ribbon loads at the top of Excel
The Portfolio Selector window appears immediately
ClearLedger Analytics controls Excel end‑to‑end. Users never interact with raw spreadsheets or templates — the application loads its interface, tenants, and configuration automatically.
Select a Model Portfolio (Recommended Starting Point)
When ClearLedger Analytics launches, the Portfolio Selector displays all available portfolios, including several preloaded model portfolios. These allow new users to begin working immediately without creating anything from scratch.
You can:
Open any model portfolio
Rename it
Duplicate it
Copy From Template to create a new portfolio based on a model
Set Session to begin working
ClearLedger Analytics automatically manages all tenant folders, configuration files, logs, scoring outputs, ML signals, and optimization results. No manual folder work is ever required.
